As much as I love...Oh yes, I really relate to this. As much as I love my children to bits, the eldest two always seem to want more. The youngest is still quite content in his little world, but I'm sure it won't be long. I guess it's just human nature to always crave for something else. I don't think that wanting for more is always a bad thing though, as it can encourage ambition and passion. But like you say, when it is just being greedy or ungrateful for the sake of it, then that is wrong. As you know, yoga and meditation is a big part of my life and I constantly remind myself how lucky I am with all that I have in my life. It can be hard when other people have bigger and better, but there will always be someone looking at us wishing they had what we do. Definitely a lot to think about xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17840536809862309511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-325371541418894143.post-76311675211673762512016-06-07T12:45:07.371+01:002016-06-07T12:45:07.371+01:00Yeah I am finding myself more and more thinking ab...Yeah I am finding myself more and more thinking about the older generation who tell us to appreciate all the moments because we will miss them. It can be quite tough to remember when you have tantrum times though. :) Mrs Helicopter Writeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05271416621429637280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-325371541418894143.post-85880633187624781942016-06-07T12:43:21.794+01:002016-06-07T12:43:21.794+01:00Thanks lovely XThanks lovely XMrs Helicopter Writeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05271416621429637280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-325371541418894143.post-32872616424654960922016-06-07T07:22:24.618+01:002016-06-07T07:22:24.618+01:00Ah yes, I'm always wanting the next best thing...Ah yes, I'm always wanting the next best thing. I had an epiphany this week though, I want to live every day appreciating all of the moments, including the mundane moments. This is because I started work this week after six month maternity leave and every moment with my son is precious and I don't want to take it for granted. It sounds like your son is just a normal kid, I think the gratitude exercises are a fantastic idea!! I think I am going to add this to my routine : ). Thanks so much for sharing with #StayClassy! Eva always seems to want more and yesterday through the worst tantrum of her life. It made us evaluate how we look at things and both said we are always wanting more and what we can't really have. Defo up for listing things that we're grateful for at the end of the day. I think I'm gonna take a look into these meditation apps myself!Beckyhttp://www.hecticdiabectic.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-325371541418894143.post-29838192044055523332016-06-03T09:50:58.598+01:002016-06-03T09:50:58.598+01:00and remember that the little so and so's alway...and remember that the little so and so's always target their parents at the end of the day when everyone is tired! It is a great idea to make him list things he is grateful for - I try to do it myself. We are all driven by what we see in the media and made to believe we deserve ALL THE THINGS! The other old cliche stop and smell the roses works well too. All I can say is that he is an angel when he is here so you are definitely doing something right XXsallythewelshgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15443305557885498254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-325371541418894143.post-44032396450334862302016-06-02T19:33:02.681+01:002016-06-02T19:33:02.681+01:00I think so many similar thoughts. I think it's...I think so many similar thoughts. I think it's just a natural thing for kids to always want more, there doesn't seem a way to stop it. Maybe it's the brainwashing our society has done to us, if you don't have the best most expensive stuff then you're behind in life. It's nonsense but still doesn't stop me wanting a 4-bed house instead of 3, but then the 4 bed would also need a detached garage.... It continues, I completely get you! Another great post and I like your writing style.

#StayClassyDadvWorld - David Shaulhttp://dadvworld.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-325371541418894143.post-53643484065864936432016-06-02T19:26:10.843+01:002016-06-02T19:26:10.843+01:00I'm with you on the gratitude.
